Visual Multimedia Artist ● Art Instructor
As an artist, I find myself perpetually coloring outside the lines, and thinking outside the box. Sometimes I have complete control over my art. Other times, my work takes on a life of its own, midstream. These artistic twists and turns result in delightful surprises and provocative imagery. Paint alone won’t do it. That’s why I’m constantly experimenting with a variety of media to create layers and textures that draw you in with a dimensionality that’s unique to my work.
I am lucky to have found the artist in me. It came later in life. And when it did it was therapeutic and cathartic. And now I share that empowerment with others.
I have spent the last six years as an art teacher, creatively coaching people across all ages and abilities. Some of my most gratifying work is teaching those with unique social or physical issues. My teaching style demonstrates dedication to “sparking” creativity and self-expression in a fun, positive atmosphere. I love bringing art to people in various venues where my knowledge and passion of art-making can fuel any person’s creative soul.
